This week in English 11. We continued the watching or Shakespeare's "Hamlet", along with we have been filling out a seven step decision making plan. And putting ourselves into the shoes of hamlet. If i were in his shoes I honestly am not sure how i would handle what he is going through. I feel that i would be to angry to make a precise calculated decision. Also we have been filling out a music connection sheet, which basically is a collection of songs that our teacher thinks goes along with the emotions in certain parts of the play. And we listen to those songs and pick a line or two that we feel best describes the mood and emotions of the play. Then at our tables we decide whose line best fits the situation and each table chooses one person to share what the whole table has decided. I think that this really helps people get into the play and makes them want to learn more about it and makes them want to see what happens next.
Everyday this week we met in the library, so that after we read the daily poem we could use programs online to practice for the english section of the ACT. The program actually helps alot because it shows you that they want and what will get you the best score.
